It runs equally well on three C batteries as it does from the mains, making it perfect for taking on holiday or to the park. You’ll get up to 16 hours of DAB/DAB+ reception or up to 14 hours of FM reception when using Sony C-sized alkaline batteries. There’s also a low battery alert on the LCD display.
